Introduction: MI vs SRH Match Highlights
As must be clear by now, this year’s IPL is on another level. On April 17 at the Wankhede stadium, Mumbai Indians came face-to-face with Sunrisers Hyderabad. They barely let SRH go past 160 and snatched a four-wicket win against them. An intense match full of drama, uncertainty and thrill like this is one to be remembered for weeks.
Match Summary
When Sunrisers got on the field to bat first, honestly, it didn’t look like they’d be able to make a decent score. But, thanks to Aniket Verma and Heinrich Klaasen who proved to be a saving grace towards the end. 22 runs in the final over added strength to their score, a total of 162/5. Their entire innings saw only a total of five sixes, all through these two master players. MI’s bowlers took wicket after wicket to keep SRH’s score in check.
MI then began their chase with all the noise. Rohit Sharma excellently showed his skills, scoring sixes, and adding 26 runs to MI’s score. Ryan Rickleton and Will Jacks, too, put up a great show. Saved by a no-ball, Rickleton quickly made the best use of the opportunity, falling at last at 22 runs.
Jacks, Tilak Verma and Hardik Pandya, all gave their best shots to finally earn the victory in 18.1 overs.

This match is a testimony to how important every minute, every over is and how there is no room for any mistake. It changed the game around, though the Sunrisers too played well.
