This auction sets history as the 10 franchises spent around INR 639.15 crore to bid on 182 players. The teams taking part in this auction include Mumbai Indians (MI), Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), Chennai Super Kings (CSK), Sunrisers Hyderabad, Delhi Capitals, and KKR.

List of players Sold on Day 1 and 2 

Day 1: On day 1, some players made history by being sold at significantly high prices. Shreyas Iyer sold for a jaw-dropping INR 24.75 and signed a contract with the Punjab Kings. The major news that marks the spotlight is Rishabh Pant, who signed with the Lucknow Super Giants for an astonishing INR 27 crores.

Another standout was Venkatesh Iyer, who sold for INR 23.75 crore to the Kolkata Knight Riders. These two players made historic news. Additionally, other notable sales included Phil Salt, sold for INR 11.50 to KKR, and David Miller, who was bid at INR 7.5 crore by the Lucknow Super Giants.
