Ever fancied bathing without actually having to put in the effort? Japan has heard you and brings to you a luxurious sci-fi bathing ritual. Japanese engineers have recently introduced the Mirai Ningen Sentakuki, the human washing machine, which is the latest buzz. Osaka based Science Co. has developed this futuristic AI-powered device to do the job. So whether you’re getting late for work or are just lazy, you don’t have to skip out on a good bath.
What is Mirai Ningen Sentakuki?
Designed to look like a fighter jet cockpit, it takes care of your bathing so you don’t have to. How does it do so? AI can do wonders beyond our thinking capacity.
In this particular innovation, it analyses a person’s body, thereby offering a customised wet and dry experience. What’s more? This entire process takes only 15 minutes! All one has to do is enter the pod, and it starts filling partially with warm water. The ultrasonic water jets and microscopic air bubbles take away all the dirt and impurities, without harsh scrubbing. This gives you a perfect spa-like experience, but at home. You just have to sit in the chair inside the pod, and experience luxury. In seconds, the sensors collect the user’s data and the temperature gets adjusted accordingly. To give an even more luxurious, personalised feel, videos play inside the pod depending upon the user’s emotional state. How cool is that!
Why is it Gaining Popularity?
One common concern that people might have is they can feel claustrophobic, while inside. But don’t worry, questions have been answered even before they are asked. To prevent feeling of uneasiness or getting stuck inside, the machine has a transparent cover.
Now, worried about excessive water consumption? Experts have literally taken care of everything! The machine is designed such that it uses just 10 liters of water per session. That’s way less than what one would consume in a regular shower.
People with packed schedules will especially benefit from this because it is time efficient. Additionally, it takes away all the stress to give one a relaxing experience.
Moreover, it doesn’t restrict one from enjoying the benefits owing to age or disability. In fact, it promotes well-being for all.
Future Plans
The machine was first displayed at the Osaka Kansai Expo, years ago. The current model is a re-iteration and an improved version of the same, incorporating the latest technologies. According to reports, around 1000 lucky people would be able to try it out. As of now, there’s no information as to when it would be available to buy in the market. Though, it is aimed to be in every household by the year 2030.
Conclusion
This latest innovation has crossed all levels of creativity, while incorporating the latest technology. It is a fantasy how just at the touch of a button, one can have the ultimate bathing experience. With luxurious offerings at minimal effort, it surely is a fascination that everyone wants to make their reality.
